Strange Freaky Halloween Game Ideas
Since summer is over, this means it's time to get a head start on Halloween again. A new season is on its way, so if you delay planning now, you may find you are unable to get precisely what you are looking for. Even if it is just extra time-fillers you may need, it is never too early to get started putting together the picture perfect Halloween party. Picture perfect parties include fun, so the following are five games you may want to think about when throwing the most truly ultimate freak-a-boo party:
1. Bobbing for Apples ' a distinct standard for any Halloween gathering, so why not throw in a twist? You can do more than simply use just a regular black bucket and apples. Snazz it up by coloring the water, or throwing in some fake snakes, spiders, or worms. You can probably discover some other gross things to deposit in the tub too, like fake eyeballs and severed fingers. Surround the cauldron (safely) with a little dry ice or an Ultrasonic Water Mist maker for a freaky fog effect.
2. Halloween Scavenger Hunt ' awesome for all age groups' adults and kids. You choose what you want them to find. Given that all neighborhoods are different, you can customize their list for the neighborhood you are in... or just send the players to the local mall and have them hit up the stores and shoppers for their random objects.
3. Scavenger Art Contest -- Take the items you received from the scavenger hunt and tell the teams craft something "freaky" from them. Provide extra craft tools, like glue, scissors, etc' and wait for the outcome. Best Halloween creation wins.
4. Guess What This Is! -- the most unpleasant touch & feel game you can participate in. I do not know if this game has a name other than that, but that is what I call it. This game turns out to be my first pick for freak-out entertainment. Here is how it goes down: In advance, you get a box, where on one side you pick really nasty smelling items and place them there, then match them with something somewhat less harmless to feel on the other side. The key of this game is that you are instructing the teams to distinguish the item they touch. The key is, you are making them to smell something other than what they are feeling to screw with their minds. Feel free to get extremely creative here. This activity can be extremely enjoyable, pleasing pleasureable to watch, and makes for conversation later.
5. Pin the Skin on the Skeleton ' Ugh! Just like pin the tail on the donkey, but utterly not the same game. Instead of a donkey, get a hold of a paper skeleton and tack it on the wall. Mark a place on the skeleton for the player to "re-skin". You can apply use a push-pin and flesh colored material, or if you really want to disturb your participants, grab a chicken and use real chicken skin. Blindfold the player and cheer them on to attempt to hit the selected point. Nearest wins.
Whatever you pick to do this Halloween, just remember it is all about surrounding yourself with fun. Be careful, have a great freak-out, and enjoy your opportunity to disguise yourself in a costume and become another creature for a switch!
